I can’t say enough positive things about Shlomo. His crew did such a wonderful job with the flooring in our home. Our home is 100+ years old, and to say that the floors and sub-floor were a disaster when Shlomo first came to give us his opinion of the work is an understatement. A lot of care and attention was put into leveling the floors, helping us choose the right engineered hardwood product and then the installation. We have been extremely happy with the work completed in our home by Ambience Development, Ltd. We have used their services for several jobs, including installation and refinishing of hardwood floors and a smaller renovation in our upstairs attic, which included new railings, refinished floors, new electrical and painting. On all occasions, the work was of high quality, on time and on budget. Shlomo Laniado, the owner, is very knowledgeable and was helpful in giving us advice as to what design would work best for the room. His workers are very respectful and always cleaned up before they left. We were extremely impressed that they were able to match up flooring that was done several years ago, and continue the same wood into another room without any sign of the addition. I would highly recommend this company for any flooring or renovation jobs you are considering.
The job was well done and professional. There was a lot of heavy furniture to move, but the guys managed well and my floors look great. Shlomo really knows his floors – his recommendations during our consult were spot on.

I don’t know when it is that you get back, or if you are reading emails in Israel, but I want to let you know that we are THRILLED with the refinished wood floors. They are more beautiful than we imagined was possible, and Gabor agrees that all the work of moving out and in was totally worth it! The colour is golden, like honey, and the combination of old and new fir is really interesting and beautiful. Paul did a fantastic job, he is such a skilled and conscientious worker. It was a pleasure to get to know him . Next year we do the main floor!

I hired Shlomo in July 2011 to refinish the original fir hardwood floors on the main floor of my house on the recommedation from a colleague at work. I have an older house and my floors were at one time stained dark brown and some was still covered in carpet so I had no idea what shape they were in. Not knowing much about hardwood, I followed Shlomo’s advice on what process and finish to use. The result was transformational. Many of my friends think I had new floors installed. In all my dealings with Shlomo he was professional, responsive, accommodating to my needs and schedule and his final invoice matched his quote. I couldn’t be happier with the end result, love my new floors and have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Thank you for the fantastic job putting the new laminate floor in my place. It looks so much larger having all the carpet out and laminate in its place. It is so much cleaner. You and Derek are a great team. Having two thirds of my home changed over from carpet to laminate was a huge undertaking and I greatly appreciated the thoughtful way you executed your plan. Recently, I had the privilege and honour of having Hardwood Floors installed by Shlomo Laniado.
My family and I have lived in this Town-Home for 4 years, and it was filled with our belongings making for a challenging installation to say the least.
Mr. Laniado handled this situation with class, grace and true professionalism.
The quality of his product surpassed anything we could have imagined. In my opinion, he sourced the material and scrutinized the quality of delivered wood as if he were installing in him own home.

Shlomo and his team completed a full renovation of my 30-year old kitchen beginning on May 1, 2012.
